The Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic discussed the Erasmus+ program with a delegation from the European Parliament.

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, where Minister Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva and First Deputy Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovations Gulnur Mamyrava met with Members of the European Parliament, led by Giuseppina Princi, the chair of the delegation responsible for relations with Central Asian countries.

During the discussion, participants addressed issues of cooperation in the field of education and science, as well as the further implementation of the Erasmus+ program.

Kendirbaeva thanked the representatives of the European side for their support. Currently, the Ministry of Education is working on a budget support program from the European Union called "Contract for the Reform of the Education Sector in Kyrgyzstan."

This initiative aims at comprehensive modernization of the country's educational system, including sustainable financing, digitalization of learning processes, creating an inclusive environment, and implementing advanced European practices within the Twinning project.
