60 million dollars will be spent on air in Kyrgyzstan

Funds from donors are aimed at improving the atmospheric conditions in the country.


Kyrgyzstan will receive 60 million dollars from international donors to improve air quality. This information was announced by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision.

According to the ministry's data, as part of international cooperation and by the government's order, a project titled "Improving Air Quality in the Kyrgyz Republic" is being implemented in the country, which is financed by KOICA and amounts to 10 million dollars. The project is planned to continue until 2028.

Additionally, with the support of the World Bank, work is being carried out on the "Improving Air Quality" project with a budget of 50 million dollars.

The updated composition of the interdepartmental commission has also been approved, 10 meetings have been held, and field meetings took place in Osh and Manas to discuss local issues.
