According to the department, it is planned to purchase about 30 types of medicines and medical products with direct access to manufacturers. This strategy aims to eliminate intermediaries, ensure that products meet international quality standards, including pre-qualification by the World Health Organization, as well as create competitive pricing conditions through participation in global procurement.
Currently, preparations are underway for signing contracts. Preliminary estimates suggest that the transition to this model will lead to budget savings of approximately 410 million soms compared to the previous year.
As noted by the Ministry of Health, the procurement policy for 2026 will focus on reducing drug prices, ensuring their quality and reliability of supply, as well as increasing the efficiency of budget spending.
