A special commission organized by the Aitmatov District State Administration conducted an inspection of meat sales points and livestock slaughter locations to ensure that the local population has access to quality meat at reasonable prices.

During the activities, explanatory talks were also held aimed at maintaining stable meat prices.

Currently, the prices in the district are set at:

beef (bone-in meat) and bone-in horse meat — 520 soms per kg;

horse meat — 620–630 soms per kg;

poultry meat — 650–680 soms per kg;

lamb — 650–680 soms per kg.
