In Kyrgyzstan, an automated information system designed for providing state subsidies to seed-growing farms, known as AIS Subsidy, has been successfully implemented. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
This system operates in the Department for the Expertise of Agricultural Crops and Horticulture and was developed within the framework of the state institution AgroSmart.
The main goal of AIS Subsidy is to digitize the processes of submitting, reviewing, and accounting for subsidy applications, as well as to monitor the movement of seeds and control their intended use.
According to the agency, the new system is capable of increasing the transparency of procedures, minimizing corruption risks, and providing the ability to generate analytical reports in real time.
Among the main functions of the system, the following can be highlighted:
online registration and identification of users with various access levels;
the ability to submit and track electronic applications with automated data verification;
electronic document management using electronic digital signatures;
conducting online meetings of commissions with the ability to generate and sign electronic protocols;
monitoring the movement of seeds, including their interregional supplies and logistics;
compiling electronic acts on the targeted use of seeds with photographic documentation and GPS fixation;
centralized electronic archive and the possibility of analytical reporting.
The ministry emphasizes that the implementation of this system is aimed at improving the efficiency of distributing state subsidies and enhancing control over the use of seed material.
