In the city of Kainindi, events were held dedicated to the 37th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan.

A solemn memorial meeting took place in the "Victory" park at the "Black Tulip" memorial.

Among the participants were representatives of the district administration, veterans of the Afghan war, local authorities, and residents of the city.

The ceremony included military honors, with a guard of honor from the military commissariat at the memorial. Gun salutes were fired in honor of the fallen heroes.

The attendees honored the memory of their compatriots with a moment of silence, and then laid flowers at the monument.

In his speech, the akim of the Panfilov district, Bekmaat Masaidov, emphasized the importance of the veterans' heroism. "The courage of Soviet soldiers, demonstrated on Afghan soil, will forever remain in our memory. The state will continue to support Afghan veterans," he noted.

From the Panfilov district, 58 fighters went to war in Afghanistan, two of whom gave their lives while fulfilling their military duty.
