Restrictions lifted for heavy vehicle traffic on the Otmok Pass

As of 1:00 PM, the temporary restrictions on the movement of heavy trucks at the Otmok Pass, located on the Suusamyr — Talas — Taraz highway, have been lifted. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Currently, traffic is operating normally. The road clearing and the addition of inert materials are being carried out by DEP No. 36.

It is worth noting that the day before, due to a sharp deterioration in weather conditions, restrictions were imposed on heavy vehicles at this pass.
