Temporary restrictions for heavy vehicles due to snow introduced at the Too-Ashuu pass

Due to a sharp deterioration in weather conditions, snow has fallen in several regions of Kyrgyzstan. Road services are working without breaks. In the morning, starting from 3:40, on the Bishkek — Osh highway, at the Too-Ashuu pass, the Ministry of Transport and Communications has imposed temporary restrictions on the movement of heavy trucks.

To ensure passage, the state enterprises "Kyrgyzavtozhol-North" and "Kyrgyzavtozhol-South" are regularly applying a sand-salt mixture to the roads.
At the Otmok pass, located on the Suusamyr — Talas — Taraz highway, snow is also observed; however, passage for all vehicles is open.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications strongly recommends that drivers avoid entering the oncoming lane, strictly follow the traffic rules, and carry the necessary equipment.
