Due to adverse weather conditions, a temporary restriction for heavy vehicles has been introduced at the Too-Ashuu pass, located on the Bishkek-Osh highway. This was reported by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the agency, snowfalls have affected many regions of the country, and road clearing operations are being conducted around the clock. Regular replenishment of the road surface with a sand-salt mixture is underway.
At the Otmok pass, which is on the Suusamyr-Talas-Taraz route, snow is also observed; however, traffic there remains open.
