Today, a decree from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic was published regarding the early termination of Kamchybek Tashiev's powers as Deputy Prime Minister and head of the State National Security Committee. President Sadyr Japarov commented on this decision as a step towards strengthening the unity of the state and preventing a split in society.
So far, there have been no comments from Kamchybek Tashiev regarding his resignation.
