According to the plan, the new plant will be able to process up to 310,000 tons of waste annually, converting it into electricity. The municipality emphasizes that the facility will comply with all environmental standards, excluding harmful emissions into the environment.
A ceremony for laying a time capsule is scheduled to take place in the coming days. The plant is expected to begin operations by the end of 2027.
This project is being implemented as part of a program to expand urban infrastructure and address the growing volume of waste.
