In the Kyrgyz Republic, the official acceptance of applications for training in state driving schools has begun, along with the implementation of updated driver training programs. This was reported by the office of the president of the country.
Applications are accepted exclusively in online format through the official resource avtomektep.srs.kg. To submit an application, it is necessary to fill in personal data, specify the region of training and the category of driver's license, and then send the electronic application through the platform.
After submitting the application, the information will be verified, and applicants will be enrolled in driving schools in their chosen region.
For the convenience of students, distance learning for the theoretical part is provided. Several training streams have also been created, which helps process a large number of applications and avoid overloads in educational institutions.
In addition, new state driving schools are connecting to the program every day. One driving school can simultaneously train several groups of cadets, which contributes to an even distribution of students across regions.
As part of the reform, new driver training programs have been introduced, aimed at improving the quality of education, fostering a culture of safe driving, and reducing the number of road traffic accidents.
At the initiative of President Sadyr Japarov, the possibility of revising training methods in driving schools is also being considered. As noted by the head of the president's office, Kanbek Tumanbaev, for cadets demonstrating high results, testing may be conducted after four months of training in a trial mode.
Cadets who successfully complete the testing and exam will receive a temporary driver's license for one year. If during this time they do not commit serious violations of traffic rules, they will be issued permanent rights.
If, however, a driver with a temporary license commits serious violations of the rules or becomes the cause of an accident within the year, their temporary rights will be revoked, and they will be required to complete the remaining six months of training in the driving school.
