Starting from February 10, the Kyrgyz Republic will begin accepting online applications for those wishing to study at state driving schools, alongside the introduction of new driver training programs. This was reported by the press service of the State Center for Vehicle Registration.

Applications can only be submitted through the official website avtomektep.srs.kg in an online format. To do this, it will be necessary to provide personal data, select a place of study, and choose a category of driver's license. After filling in all the required information, the user needs to submit the electronic application through the platform.

Once the applications are received, they will be carefully reviewed, and applicants will be enrolled in driving schools in the selected region.

For the convenience of students, online training for the theoretical part of the course is provided. Several training streams have also been organized, which allows for the efficient processing of a large number of applications and minimizes the burden on driving schools.

Every day, new state driving schools are connecting to the system, which allows for the simultaneous training of several groups of cadets and the even distribution of students across regions.

As part of the reform, updated driver training programs are being implemented, aimed at improving the quality of education, fostering a culture of safe driving, and reducing the number of road traffic accidents.

The programs include in-depth study of traffic rules, enhanced practical training, the use of modern simulators, and mastering the basics of vehicle maintenance.

Additionally, at the initiative of President Sadyr Japarov, the possibility of reducing the training duration in driving schools is being considered. As reported by Kanbek Tumanbaev, the president's chief of staff, a testing mode may be offered for cadets with high performance, allowing them to take the test after four months of training.

Cadets who successfully complete the testing and exam will be able to obtain a temporary driver's license valid for one year. If they do not commit any traffic violations during this time, they will be issued permanent driver's licenses.
