According to officials, the project is being implemented in preparation for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit and the VI World Nomad Games, which will take place from August 31 to September 1 of this year.
The bypass road, which will be 15.64 km long, will have four lanes. The construction is being financed from the state budget using a parallel design method.
“The work is expected to be completed by the start of the World Nomad Games and the SCO summit. Travel on the new road will be free,” the mayor's office reported.
The project aims to reduce traffic flow, improve the condition of the road infrastructure, and ensure quality preparation for the upcoming international events. The work is being carried out according to a pre-established schedule.
