
The Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kanbek Dosmambetov, held a meeting with doctors working in Moscow during his working trip to Russia. The main topic of discussion was attracting specialists back to their homeland and creating conditions for their professional growth.
According to information from the ministry, the meeting took place at the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan and gathered about 60 doctors. Dosmambetov informed the participants about the current reforms in the healthcare system, efforts to modernize medical institutions, increase salaries, improve infrastructure, and working conditions.
Significant attention was paid to issues of social support, professional development, and creating comfortable conditions for young specialists.
During the dialogue, the medical professionals shared their experiences of working abroad, as well as expressed suggestions and questions regarding employment, adaptation, and career opportunities in Kyrgyzstan. As a result of the meeting, some young doctors expressed a desire to consider options for returning and continuing their careers in the domestic healthcare system.
Kanbek Dosmambetov emphasized that the government is interested in the return of qualified specialists and is ready to create all necessary conditions for their comfortable work and life.
