In the Jalal-Abad region, a major overhaul of 65 substations is planned, as reported by the Ministry of Energy.
According to the agency's information, the updates will affect substations with various voltage levels: 35, 110, 220, and 500 kV. The work will be carried out in the following settlements:
- Maiyly-Suu — 2 substations of 110 kV, 1 substation of 35/10 kV;
- Manas — 4 substations of 110 kV;
- Kara-Kul — 6 substations of 110 kV;
- Tash-Kumyr — 1 substation of 220 kV, 2 substations of 110 kV;
- Aksy District — 2 substations of 110 kV, 3 substations of 35/10 kV;
- Ala-Buka District — 2 substations of 110 kV;
- Chatkal District — 2 substations of 110 kV;
- Nooken District — 5 substations of 110 kV, 6 substations of 35/10 kV;
- Toktogul District — 2 substations of 110 kV, 7 substations of 35/10 kV;
- Bazar-Korgon District — 1 substation of 110 kV, 4 substations of 35/10 kV;
- Suzaq District — 1 substation of 220 kV, 6 substations of 110 kV, 7 substations of 35/10 kV.
During the major overhaul, it is planned to update 232 units of electrical equipment, including power transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, and switching equipment, as well as surge protectors.
In addition, 112 substations in the Jalal-Abad region will undergo scheduled maintenance. The work is planned from March to November of this year.
