This year, major works are planned at 22 substations with voltages of 220/110/35 kV in Batken, as reported by the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the information from the ministry, reconstruction works will be carried out at the 220/110/10 kV "Alaï" substation, during which the grounding contour of the open switchgear (OSG) will be completely changed. At the 110/35/6 kV "Arka" and "Dzhin-Dzhigan" substations, the replacement of 110 kV transformer inputs is planned. At the 35/6 kV "Sulyukta" substation, the replacement of RVS-35 kV with OPN-35 kV will take place.
In addition, at eight facilities, including the "Dzhin-Dzhigan", "Kadamzhai", "Tamasha", "Khalmion", and "Isfana" substations, old oil circuit breakers with voltages of 6-10 kV will be replaced with modern vacuum models.

- current transformers (CT) for voltages of 35 kV and 10 kV;
- anti-resonance voltage transformers (VT) for voltages of 35 kV and 10 kV.
At the 110/35/6 kV "Kadamzhai", "Kyzyl-Kiya", and "Metallurgical" substations, old oil circuit breakers will be replaced with gas-insulated ones. Additionally, at the 35/10 kV "Markaz" and 35/6 kV "Shamirova" substations, outdated oil switching devices will be updated to modern vacuum circuit breakers.
It should be noted that the Batken PES service manages 51 substations with voltages of 220/110/35/10 kV, including:
- 2 substations of 220/110/35 kV;
- 15 substations of 110/35/10 kV;
- 34 substations of 35/10/6 kV.
