In the Batken Region, energy equipment has been upgraded at 8 substations
The replacement of outdated oil circuit breakers at eight substations in the Batken region has been completed. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the 35/6 kV "Chauvay" substation, old oil circuit breakers were dismantled on the lines B-6 kV "RESH-22", "School", "Factory", and "Site". Similar work was carried out at the 35/6 kV "Pump – Kulundu" substation on the lines B-6 kV "T-1", "AG-1", and "AG-22", where new 10 kV vacuum circuit breakers were also installed.
At the 35/10 kV "Kara-Bulak" substation, circuit breakers on the lines B-10 kV "Beles" and "Boz-Tumshuk" were replaced, and at the 35/10/6 kV "Dostuk" substation, modern equivalents were also installed on the lines B-10 kV "Neftoprom" and "Dostuk".
In addition, the 35/10 kV "Kara-Bulak" and 35/10 kV "Markaz" substations received new 35 kV vacuum circuit breakers instead of the ODKZ-35 kV T-1 equipment.
At the 110/35/10 kV "Samad" and 35/10 kV "Sulyukta" substations, battery banks were also replaced with more modern models. In the future, the installation of 10 kV vacuum circuit breakers is planned at the 35/10 kV "Kara-Tokoy-1" substation.
“Modern vacuum circuit breakers meet contemporary requirements, have high reliability, pose no fire hazard, and have low operating costs,” the ministry added.
