At the meeting, officials discussed key issues related to the organization of this international cultural and sporting event. The progress of organizational activities, the state of infrastructure, conditions for receiving foreign guests, as well as the current condition of the racetrack and measures necessary to address existing difficulties were discussed.
The representative of the president in the Issyk-Kul region and the relevant state authorities received instructions for further coordination of work and ensuring the timely implementation of planned projects.
It should be noted that the VI World Nomad Games are scheduled to take place from August 31 to September 6, 2026. According to the organizing committee, the opening ceremony will be held in Bishkek, while the competitions and closing ceremony will take place in the Issyk-Kul region. Guests from 100 countries are expected to attend.
The World Nomad Games are international competitions in ethnic sports, including games of historically nomadic peoples of Central Asia.
