
The creative direction of the group is inspired by the ancient Bashkir epic "Ural-Batyr," which they modernize by combining traditional instruments with contemporary musical elements, including electronic music.
“Through their songs, Ay Yola shares with the world the values that have been formed on this land, adapting them for the modern listener. As part of their role as ambassadors, the group will participate in cultural and informational initiatives, representing the World Nomad Games and promoting traditional culture on the international stage,” the press release states.
It was also previously announced that two-time Olympic medalist and World Cup champion in freestyle wrestling Aisuluu Tynybekova has become an ambassador for the VI World Nomad Games.
The VI World Nomad Games are scheduled to take place from August 31 to September 6, 2026. The opening of the event will be held in Bishkek, while the competitions and closing ceremony will take place in the Issyk-Kul region. It is expected that guests from 100 countries will participate in the Games.
The World Nomad Games are international sports competitions dedicated to ethnic sports, including games of historically nomadic peoples of Central Asia.
