
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a meeting was held dedicated to the issues of using the state language in the service sector and advertising. The relevant information was provided by the city administration.
On February 5, 2026, a meeting took place in the Sverdlovsk district, attended by representatives from various organizations, including public service centers, civil registry offices, as well as large trade and entertainment enterprises, beauty salons, banks, markets, cafes and restaurants, hotels, sports complexes, and cinemas.
During the discussions, issues regarding compliance with the legislation on the state language were considered, as well as the use of this language in visual information and advertising materials. Participants were also encouraged to coordinate texts in the state language with local executive bodies.
Among the participants of the meeting were: the chairman of the National Commission on the State Language and Language Policy Melis Murataliev, head of the commission's department Almagul Telekmanova, leading specialist Ainura Sooronbaeva, head of the analysis and monitoring department Gulnur Kaparova, and head of the state language and editing department of the Bishkek city administration Elvira Niyazbekova.
Participants were given recommendations to improve the use of the state language in the service sector, which should contribute to its more active use in this area.
