On February 3, a meeting was held in Bishkek dedicated to the implementation of the state language in the service sector and outdoor advertising, with participants from the Lenin district.
According to the city hall, this event was organized jointly with the district administration and the National Commission on the State Language under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, as part of the implementation of the Constitutional Law "On the State Language".
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the National Commission on the State Language and Language Policy Melis Murataliev, as well as representatives of the Lenin District Administration and the city of Bishkek, including officials from the trade and service sectors.
Participants of the meeting received clarifications on the legal aspects of applying the state language in consumer services, the need to align outdoor advertising with legislative norms, and to coordinate texts in the state language with local authorities.
The city hall emphasized that similar meetings with entrepreneurs will continue in other districts of the capital until February 6, 2026.
