
A man in the Nooken district faced coercive measures due to his long-term disregard for a court decision regarding alimony. This was reported by the Bailiff Service.
According to the agency, the citizen's debt reached 351,224 soms due to his evasion of financial obligations. Despite explanatory conversations and other measures taken, he continued to avoid payments.
As a result, a criminal case was initiated against him under Article 178, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The man, identified as N.N.S., was detained.
Based on the decision of the Nooken District Court dated January 30, 2026, the suspect was ordered to be detained for a period of one month.
The Bailiff Service noted that evasion of alimony payments can lead to both civil and criminal liability.
