In the Kochkor district, there has been a return of agricultural land to state ownership that was illegally privatized. The total area of these plots is 37.78 hectares, according to information from the prosecutor's office.
As established by representatives of the supervisory agency, between 1996 and 2006, the plots located in the territory of the Ormon-Khan and Cholpon rural administrations were unlawfully transferred into private hands.
Thanks to the actions of the prosecutors, the value of the returned lands is estimated at 80 million 300 thousand soms.
The prosecutor's office emphasized that work to identify and return unlawfully alienated lands is ongoing.
