International Tools for Assessing Youth Well-Being Implemented in Kyrgyzstan
At a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which deals with issues of science, education, innovative development, and youth policy, Marat Tagaev, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy, reported on the implementation of international assessment tools in Kyrgyzstan. Among them are the Global Youth Well-Being Index and the Youth Well-Being and Development Index.
Tagaev noted that in accordance with current legislation, research to determine the Youth Well-Being and Development Index is conducted every two years. The last such study took place in 2025, and its results were announced on January 23, 2026.
