Today, January 30, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, made a special visit to Bishkek to participate in the opening of the new building of the Military Medical Service of the State National Security Committee, as reported by the press service of the head of state.
In his address to those present, including officers and veterans, the president noted that this event marks a new important stage in strengthening national security, emphasizing the care for the health of those who protect the country and maintain its stability.
Sadyr Japarov also congratulated those gathered on this significant date and spoke about the history of the Military Medical Service, which has its roots in the early formation of Kyrgyz statehood. In the 1920s, medical structures operated under extremely challenging conditions.
By 1951, the Military Medical Service was transformed into an independent body, with approved staffing units and appointments for medical personnel.
“Since then, the Military Medical Service, like other divisions of the SNB, adheres to high standards of professionalism and responsibility,” the president noted, adding that the construction of the new medical complex became possible thanks to the initiative of the chairman of the SNB, Kamchybek Tashiev.
The building, covering an area of about 15,000 square meters, includes a military clinic with an operating block and departments for resuscitation and rehabilitation, as well as a hospital providing specialized and inpatient care. It comprises departments dealing with cardiovascular diseases and general surgery.
In addition, the complex is equipped with modern equipment and implements digital technologies in medicine, including high-tech surgery.

Sadyr Japarov emphasized that such measures are aimed at improving the quality of medical services, reducing treatment times, and facilitating faster rehabilitation of patients.
He also added that the Military Medical Service will provide assistance not only to SNB employees but also to servicemen of the Border Service, veterans, pensioners, and their family members, as well as, within the framework of interagency cooperation, to employees of judicial and law enforcement agencies. This will help relieve the previously overloaded medical institutions.

“The state will continue to pay special attention to improving the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies and security forces,” the president stated, expressing confidence that the modernization of the Military Medical Service will help the staff effectively fulfill their tasks in ensuring the country's security and strengthen citizens' trust in state institutions.

In conclusion, the president inspected the offices equipped with the latest technologies, including magnetic resonance and computed tomography machines, ultrasound diagnostic and echocardiography devices, as well as wards, a conference hall, a cafeteria, and a gym.
