Snow drifts, ice, and slippery conditions are expected on certain sections of the roads due to precipitation
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, snow avalanches are expected in the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan, as well as on some sections of the roads, leading to the formation of snow drifts and ice.
Avalanches may form on the Bishkek—Osh road between kilometers 198–255 (Ala-Bel pass and Chychkan gorge), as well as on kilometers 45–90 of the Karakol—Enilchek road (Chong-Ashuu pass).
Due to the increased danger, the Ministry of Emergency Situations strongly recommends that drivers maintain a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles on hazardous sections of the roads.
