As of January 23, the conditions for submitting documents in the Kyrgyz Republic have been simplified

As of January 23, new simplified rules for applying for a general civil passport for children under 16 years of age have come into effect in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the state institution "Kyzmat".

Now, it is no longer necessary to have a registered residence, which was previously mandatory.

If one of the parents cannot be present when submitting documents, notarized consent can be obtained through the "Electronic Notary" information system.

All powers of attorney issued within the country are linked to the automated systems of the Public Service Centers (COn).

In addition, there is now the possibility of deregistering citizens based on a notarized power of attorney, which previously required a personal visit to the COn.

For those changing ID cards, a new item has been added — changing nationality based on one of the parents.
