One of the main tasks in the field of healthcare is the early detection of serious diseases.

The Minister of Health, Kanibek Dosmambetov, recently visited one of the leading private laboratories. During the visit, he examined the organization of work, logistics, quality control systems, and the use of digital technologies in laboratory research processes. Based on the experience gained, the minister instructed to develop a project for a new state laboratory in Bishkek, as reported by the Ministry of Health's press service.

The project will be part of a reform aimed at creating an integrated system with unified standards, high-tech equipment, and modern digital tools, as well as established logistics.

Particular attention will be paid to quality control of research and cooperation with medical institutions.

The purpose of the working visit was to study best practices that can be applied in the process of forming a state laboratory system. The main focus is on accelerating diagnosis and improving its accuracy for patients.

According to the minister, one of the pressing issues in healthcare remains the late detection of dangerous diseases, including malignant tumors.

Many patients seek medical help only at stages III–IV of the disease, which is related to insufficient accessibility and development of laboratory diagnostics.

“This leads to a loss of time and reduces the chances of successful treatment. Correct diagnosis is already half the success in treatment. For timely detection of diseases, the country needs a powerful laboratory infrastructure,” emphasized Dosmambetov.

It is planned to create a laboratory from scratch, using modern diagnostic equipment, its own logistics system, and a digital platform for processing medical data.

In addition, a network of regional branches will be organized, which will operate within a unified system with the central laboratory.

This new model will reduce the time for conducting tests, increase the accuracy of results, and simplify data exchange between laboratories and medical institutions, the ministry noted.
