According to Dosmambetov, one of the main problems in the healthcare system remains the late diagnosis of serious diseases, including cancer. Often, patients seek help only at stages III-IV of the disease. He emphasized that this is related to the insufficient effectiveness of the laboratory diagnostic system.
“Correct diagnosis is half of successful treatment. For timely and accurate detection of diseases, the country needs a powerful laboratory base,” noted the minister.
In this regard, the Ministry of Health is developing a project to create a modern state reference laboratory in Bishkek, which will be equipped with high-tech equipment and advanced logistical solutions. The project includes the construction of the laboratory from scratch, equipping it with modern devices, creating a regional network, organizing its own logistics, implementing a quality control system, and a digital platform for interaction with medical institutions.
