According to the Ministry of Transport, this decision was made to reduce the load on the road and prevent traffic jams. With the onset of the spring season, work on asphalt laying will continue. Currently, considering the winter conditions, earthworks are being carried out on the remaining sections.
It is worth noting that the total length of the Northern Bypass Road in Bishkek is 33.4 kilometers. This year, the reconstruction of 15 kilometers of the road is planned to be completed, of which 6 kilometers are located on the Almaty - Bishkek - Tashkent route, and the remaining 9.1 kilometers are on the Bishkek - Naryn - Torugart road.
