The Housing Complex adopted in the second reading the bill on regulating the activities of the Council for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities.
Deputy Dastan Bekeshev was the initiator of this bill. Previously, this project was returned for reconsideration at the second reading level.
The purpose of the proposed changes is to regulate the activities of the Council for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities, which operates under the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as to strengthen its role in protecting the rights of this category of citizens.
The bill proposes to establish a legislative framework for the Council's work and to provide it with the opportunity to participate in the law-making process, especially in the development of regulatory legal acts concerning the rights of persons with disabilities.
In addition, the committee decided to change the title of the bill from "On Amending Certain Legislative Acts on the Issues of the Council for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities" to "On Amending the Law on Regulatory Legal Acts."
