Significant changes in trade are expected from the new livestock market in Chym-Korgon, which will open on January 24. This was reported by Almaz Dubanaev, the head of the ayil okmotu.

He noted that the market will be accessible on January 24 and 25. “For those coming from Sokuluk and Tokmok, I recommend using the bypass road — the market will be clearly visible. Guests from the Issyk-Kul and Naryn regions should follow the internal road Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart, without leaving the bypass, and follow the signs,” he explained.

According to information from the ayil okmotu, the new market will occupy 11 hectares, of which 5 hectares are allocated for trade, while the remaining 6 hectares will be used for a cafeteria, shops, and other points of sale for building materials.

Turmush previously reported on the closure of the livestock market in Tokmok due to violations. In response, the construction of new markets began in the village of Vinogradnoe and in Chym-Korgon.
