At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Burun Amanova raised the issue of gasification in residential areas of Bishkek. She reported that the company OsOO "Gazprom" has only managed to gasify 50% of the residential areas. In addition, residents of the Kadamjai district in the Batken region have approached her with complaints about the cessation of gas supply.
Speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu clarified that gas supplies in Batken are handled not by OsOO "Gazprom," but by OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz."
"As for smog, this year Bishkek has found itself in the green zone for the first time in a long time. Unlike previous years, the level of smog has significantly decreased. This is noticeable, and the authorities are actively working in this direction. The city authorities are implementing various measures to improve air quality. We should appreciate their efforts and talk about the positive changes. Although the problem with smog is not yet completely resolved, air pollution has decreased compared to previous years," noted the speaker.
