Winter Admission. The third round has begun in universities of Kyrgyzstan.
According to information from the automated system "Applicant online," the process of accepting vouchers will take place from January 19 to 21.
As a result of the first two stages, 439 vouchers were registered, of which universities recommended 399 applicants for admission. Ultimately, 287 of them were enrolled, including 238 in full-time education and 49 in part-time education.
The highest number of vouchers was received by Osh State University (98), Kyrgyz Economic University (74), Kyrgyz-Russian Academy of Education (48), and Kyrgyz National University (49).
Among the enrolled applicants, 72 chose medicine, 66 chose education, 37 chose information technology, 28 chose economics and finance, and 25 chose law. The rest chose other fields.
The selection of applicants is based on the results of the National Testing, which took place in the fall and spring of 2025.
The winter admissions process is conducted exclusively to fill the remaining vacant places on a contract basis after the summer enrollment.
The admissions process for both Kyrgyz and foreign students to higher educational institutions is organized twice a year to improve access to higher education.
