Issyk-Kul to be cleaned with special equipment: the government approved a new regulation
This resolution was adopted in accordance with the president's decree regarding urgent measures for the protection of the ecology of Issyk-Kul, as well as taking into account the law on sustainable ecological and economic development of the region.
The new regulations outline the rules for the operation of specialized equipment on the shore and underwater, as well as establish methods for removing accumulated debris in the coastal zone and on the lakebed.
The purpose of this document is to prevent further pollution, restore the ecosystem, and ensure environmental safety in the resort area.
The resolution will come into effect in seven days.
