Raid in Issyk-Kul: 400-meter net seized

On January 16, a raid event was conducted in the waters of Lake Issyk-Kul, organized by inspectors from the Issyk-Kul Regional Office of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service.

According to information provided by the Ministry of Natural Resources, during the raid, an old 400-meter-long Chinese synthetic net was found and removed, which had been used illegally. This equipment could have significantly harmed the fish stocks in the region.

The main goal of the raid was to combat illegal fishing, protect aquatic biological resources, and ensure ecological safety in Lake Issyk-Kul.
