A 400-meter fishing net was retrieved from Issyk-Kul

On January 16, a raid event took place in the waters of Lake Issyk-Kul, organized by inspectors from the Issyk-Kul Regional Department of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service, operating under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision. The press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources shared information about this event.

During the inspection, approximately 400 meters of old synthetic fishing net, made in China, was discovered and removed, which had been used without permission. Such nets can cause significant harm to the ecosystem and fish stocks.
