The "Eurasia" café, located in Osh, will be dismantled as its operations have been suspended for a long period. This was announced on January 16 by Mayor Jenishbek Toktorbaev.

The mayor, along with representatives of the relevant services, inspected the water protection zone of the Zhekelik canal, which runs through the municipal administration "Manas-Ata." During the inspection, attention was drawn to the "Eurasia" café, located on Alisher Navoi Street. This structure was built too close to the shore and has not been used for many years, leading to its neglect.

As a result of the inspection, a directive was issued to the relevant authorities to eliminate illegal constructions located in the water protection zone as soon as possible and to clear this land plot.

Other buildings within the protective zone of the water artery were also examined. A decision was made on the necessity of strengthening control to quickly detect and prevent any attempts at illegal construction in such areas.

Municipality representatives reported that systematic monitoring of the condition of water protection zones will continue in Osh, as well as efforts to prevent unauthorized constructions.
According to current legal norms, the water protection zone for canals ranges from 6 to 50 meters on both sides. For example, the zone for the Moyun, Zhany-Aryk, and Zhoo-Bas canals is 6 meters, while for the Ak-Buura River it is 50 meters. The water protection strip of the Uvam canal is 30 meters on each side.
