Today, the mayor of Osh, Zhenishbek Toktorbaev, along with representatives of relevant services, conducted a morning inspection in the water protection zone of the "Zhekelik" canal, which runs through the territory of the "Manas-Ata" management.
According to the mayor's office, during the inspection, the mayor visited the abandoned café "Eurasia," located on A. Navoi Street. This establishment has not been operational for many years, and some of its structures are located in close proximity to the shoreline.
Toktorbaev ordered the urgent demolition of illegal structures that were unlawfully built within the water protection zone of the "Zhekelik" canal. He also emphasized the need for a complete cleanup of the municipal territory.
In addition, during the raid, the mayor ordered a detailed inspection of other facilities that may violate the boundaries and protective zone of the canal.
