The translation of the epic was carried out by Ibrahim Abduvaliev, a professor at the Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov.
Among the significant steps taken in 2013-2014, it is worth noting the agreement between Kyrgyzstan and Bashkortostan on the translation of national epics into various languages. As a result of this agreement, the Kyrgyz epic "Manas" was translated into Bashkir, and "Ural-Batyr" was translated into Kyrgyz.
In May 2025, Bashkir University named after M. Akmulla received the rights to publish translations of both epics.
