This translation became part of an agreement signed between Bashkortostan and the Kyrgyz Republic regarding the mutual translation of national epics.
According to this agreement, "Ural Batyr" was translated into Kyrgyz, while the Kyrgyz epic "Manas" was translated into Bashkir.
The rights to publish the translations were transferred to the Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after M. Akmulla in May 2025. The translator of "Ural Batyr" was Professor Ibrahim Abduvaliev from Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov.

The preparation of the book was carried out with the participation of the Research Center for Bashkir Folklore at BGPU, which has been actively studying and promoting this epic since 2022. The rector of the university, Salavat Sagitov, noted that "Schools of Sesen" are being organized in Bashkortostan, along with festivals and international scientific conferences dedicated to folklore. Additionally, since last year, June 8 has become the official Day of the Epic "Ural Batyr".

The book was published by the Bashkir publishing house "Kitap" named after Zainab Biisheva with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation as part of a project aimed at implementing best educational practices in Kyrgyzstan. A Russian translation of this epic, created by the people's writer of Bashkortostan, Akhiyar Khakimov, was also published in a similar format.
