The Minister of Culture spoke about the events held during state visits.
“For example, when our president visited Tajikistan, we also went there to participate in the state visit and organized a joint concert with Tajik cultural figures. This event lasted approximately one and a half hours, and many of our artists and musicians performed,” the minister added.
Moreover, according to Mambetaliev, cultural events also include the meetings and farewells of heads of state at the airport. He cited the recent CSTO summit, which took place in October 2025, as an example.
“For the last summit, about 30 million soms were allocated. These funds covered all aspects—from meetings and farewells to informal dinners and concert programs for the delegations,” he explained.
The minister emphasized that many cultural events are held as part of the summits, noting that, for example, about 500 people from various fields, including craftsmen, musicians, philharmonic workers, and soloists, were involved in the last summit,” Mambetaliev said.
