He appealed to citizens urging them not to put pressure on inspectors
The head of the municipal inspection, Mirlan Taalaibekov (Tsarikaev), expressed concern on his social media about intimidation and calls to "high-ranking" individuals that occur while his employees are performing their official duties. According to him, such actions undermine trust in the service and demoralize those who work honestly.
He urged citizens to refrain from such actions.
Additionally, Taalaibekov shared information about pressure on his family, describing it as "a very alarming and unacceptable fact."
"One of the well-known public figures decided to indirectly influence me by initiating an inspection at the children's rehabilitation center where my mother works, in an attempt to uncover non-existent violations. I consider such an approach extremely low and morally unacceptable when conflicts at work affect family and parents," he noted.
"Our family has never had and does not have any relation to illegal activities. Moreover, I am convinced that even this inspection will ultimately be beneficial: attention to the center will increase, conditions for children's rehabilitation will improve, and potential problems will be resolved substantively, rather than in someone’s personal interests. I continue to work openly and within the law. No pressure or attempts at discrediting will change my approach or stop the reforms," Taalaibekov emphasized.
