Social Media Outraged by the Behavior of the Municipal Inspector. Mirlan Taalaybekov Took Action

Recently, a video appeared on social media showing a man in the uniform of the municipal inspection of Bishkek behaving inappropriately: he was allegedly drinking alcohol, spitting, and relieving himself in public places.

Users pointed out that the inspector himself was committing the very offenses he is supposed to fight against.

The incident was addressed by Mirlan Taalaibekov, the head of the municipal inspection, also known as Tsarikaev. Initially, he promised to conduct a legal assessment of the employee's actions, and then posted a video and a message on his Instagram stating that the "hero" of the scandalous video had been dismissed.

“The employee who violated professional ethics and thereby undermined the authority and image of our service has been relieved of his duties. I remind you that we are the ones who must maintain order and serve as an example for society. I do not intend to deviate from these principles,” he wrote.
