The head of the Ministry of Health instructed the leadership of the Reproductive Center to develop measures to improve maternal health
Damirbek Osmonov, the Minister of Health, visited several medical institutions in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the ministry's press service.
During his visit, the minister familiarized himself with the work of the emergency medical assistance department at the National Hospital and also checked the facilities where renovation work is currently underway.
The chief physician of the National Hospital, Bakyt Tologonov, reported that the reconstruction of the intensive care unit is nearing completion, and the renovation of the building for the reference laboratory is expected to be finished by the end of April.
In addition, the minister reviewed the operations of the central emergency assistance department.
Osmonov then visited the Kyrgyz Scientific Center for Human Reproduction, where the leadership of the institution presented information about their current initiatives, available resources, and existing issues in the field of reproductive health.
As a result of the visit, the minister instructed the leadership of the Reproductive Center to develop specific proposals aimed at improving maternal health indicators and enhancing the scientific potential of the institution.
