In Kyrgyzstan, the veterinary service, together with the department for livestock development, pastures, and feed, is working on the creation of an automated information system (AIS) called "Registration and Certification of Veterinary Medicines." This project is part of a broader initiative for the digitalization of the agro-industrial complex.
According to information provided by the veterinary service, the main task of the new system is to fully automate all stages, starting from the acceptance of applications to the issuance of electronic certificates. This is expected to enhance the transparency and quality of public services.
Among the processes to be automated, the following can be highlighted:
— Acceptance of applications in electronic form;
— Preliminary verification of submitted documents;
— Payment for services via QR code;
— Sending electronic applications for analysis to laboratories and receiving protocols with an electronic digital signature (EDS);
— Decision-making by the director of the Center in electronic format;
— Generation of electronic certificates with QR codes;
— Maintaining a registry of registered drugs;
— A module for search and analytics.
The system will fully transition all stages of service provision to an electronic format, allowing applicants to submit documents online using EDS, track the status of their applications in real-time, and receive automatic notifications from the Center.
The implementation of this system will create a unified mechanism for electronic document flow, linking applicants, laboratories, and the Center. Additionally, the AIS will be integrated with other state information systems, and its functionality will be expanded in the future.
This system represents a modern and reliable solution for managing veterinary safety in the Kyrgyz Republic.
