The presentation of the new head of the Scientific Research Institute of Heart Surgery and Organ Transplantation, Jalil Sheyshenov, took place.

holds a higher medical education.

In 1999, he graduated from the I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy with a degree in "General Medicine." Then, from 1999 to 2002, he completed a clinical residency in "Cardiovascular Surgery" at the Scientific Educational Center of the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy.

From 2002 to 2007, he worked as a cardiac surgeon in the department of acquired heart defects at the Institute of Heart Surgery and Organ Transplantation.

From 2007 to 2021, he served as the head of the cardiac surgery department at the Scientific Clinical Center for Cardiac Surgery and Transplantation in Taraz (Kazakhstan). Then, from 2021 to 2023, he was the deputy director of this center for medical work.

From 2023 to January 2026, he held the position of chief physician at the Scientific Clinical Center "Bishkek Cardio."

In 2012, he defended his doctoral dissertation at the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation. He is the author of 4 patents for innovations, over 40 scientific articles, and 12 reports presented at international conferences.

From 2010 to 2023, he worked as a leading specialist in cardiac surgery and an independent expert in the Health Department of the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan.

He is a member of the scientific societies EACTS (European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery) and EAACTS (Eurasian Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons).
