
First Deputy Minister of Health Aibek Matkerimov, presenting the new leaders, emphasized that cardiological care in the country must function effectively. He noted that previously identified issues require managerial decisions and expressed hope that the new team will ensure high discipline and quality clinical outcomes.

Talant Eraliyev, born in 1987, graduated from the Military Medical Academy named after S. Kirov in 2011 with a degree in "General Medicine." From 2011 to 2012, he completed an internship in surgery, and in 2012, he took a course in interventional cardiology in Almaty.

From 2012 to 2014, Talant began his career at the Military Hospital in Osh as a senior resident in the surgical department. In 2013–2014, he also worked as a cardiologist at the "Cardio Asia Plus" medical center. Then, from 2016 to 2022, he held the position of head of the surgical department at the Military Hospital. From 2019 to 2023, he served as the deputy head of the hospital's medical service.
Since 2022 until January 2026, he worked as a doctor of X-ray endovascular diagnostics at the Kyrgyz-Russian Clinic. Eraliyev holds a PhD in medical sciences and is the chairman of the Kyrgyz Scientific Medical Society of X-ray Endovascular Surgeons.

Jalil Sheishenov, born in 1975, is a graduate of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I. Akhunbaev, class of 1999. He completed his clinical residency in cardiovascular surgery in 2002. From 2002 to 2007, he worked as a cardiac surgeon at the Research Institute of Heart Surgery.
From 2007 to 2021, he served as the head of the cardiac surgery department at the Scientific Clinical Center in Taraz, and from 2021 to 2023, he was the deputy director for medical work. From 2023 until January 2026, he worked as the chief physician of the Scientific Clinical Center "Bishkek Cardio."
In 2012, Sheishenov defended his PhD in medical sciences and is the author of several patents and scientific publications. From 2010 to 2023, he also served as the chief specialist in cardiac surgery in Kazakhstan and actively participated in organizational and methodological work.
