According to the new decree, jewelers will be able to purchase gold at a 2% discount from the prices set by the London Bullion Market Association.
The aim of this document is to support domestic jewelers and develop the jewelry industry in the country. The Ministry of Finance has been tasked with ensuring the allocation of necessary funds for the implementation of the new mechanism.
In addition, purchasing points and pawnshops now have the right to sell jewelry, as well as scrap and waste of precious metals and stones, to the authorized body.
The new procedure will come into effect 10 days after its publication.
